PCC Board 2020 Retreat

The Board had planned to have a face-to-face retreat in the summer of 2020, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, only a two-and-a-half hour virtual session was held in September- again facilitated by Ringo Morella. The retreat revisited our priorities and "refreshed" them based on considerations such as the current COVID-19 context, community needs prevailing opportunities, the PCC's internal needs and do-ability. Soon after the September 2020 retreat, the PCC received notice of the Canadian Red Cross approval of two grants and the Board agreed that the focus for the remainder of the year should be the successful delivery and completion of these two projects, along with the Annual General Meeting and recruitment of new Board members. All follow-up activities on the retreat were shelved in the meantime.
