Frontliners and Seniors in Kanata Received Their SALAMAT Box

Frontliners and seniors in the Kanata area received Salamat box food packages and hand hygiene kits from the Philippine Centre Canada (PCC) through the Canadian Red Cross and Employment and Social Development Canada.

Frontliners in nursing homes and retirement homes work hard to answer the call of their duties to serve patients, clients, and residents. The Filipino-Canadian community is part of a hard working workforce in Ottawa. Despite the heightened challenges of the pandemic to all of us, frontliners remain exceptionally strong.

Thank you to PCC volunteers Ringo and Eddie for reaching out to our “kababayans” in Kanata. We pride ourselves with dedicated volunteers like you.
