Information Session on Wills and Powers of Attorney
The Philippine Centre Canada (PCC) was pleased to welcome community members to our Information Session on Wills and Powers of Attorney, the most well-attended workshop in our Financial Literacy Workshop Series.
Facilitated by Attorney Nadilyn Calasanz, the session provided practical guidance on Wills and Powers of Attorney, helping participants understand why these legal documents are important for adults at every stage of life, not just for seniors or those with significant assets. Attendees learned how proper planning can protect their loved ones, ensure their wishes are respected, and provide clarity during unexpected situations.
The strong turnout and engaging discussion reflected our community's growing interest in planning for the future and making informed decisions for themselves and their families. We are grateful to everyone who attended and contributed to the conversation.
PCC extends its sincere appreciation to Attorney Nadilyn Calasanz for sharing her expertise and to the Ontario Trillium Foundation for supporting our Financial Literacy Workshop Series and helping make free, accessible financial education available to our community.
We look forward to welcoming everyone to our upcoming workshops as we continue empowering our community through practical financial knowledge.
