Digital Literacy Training

A series of lessons for Filipino-Canadian seniors to learn how to use their electronic gadgets (smartphones, tablets, computers) to be able to communicate with their families, friends, neighbors, and former colleagues in Canada, in the Philippines, and other countries. Seniors also learned how to use these electronic devices to research and find information on the internet, and for some, to do online banking. The lessons were conducted by youth members of the Filipino-Canadian community. Funded by the ESDC through the New Horizons for Seniors Program.
